This review and exam will be a 7 hour class. You should study the manual before the review but It's your choice before taking this review.

EMCOMM REQUIREMENTS ARRL ARECC level 1, FEMA ICS 100, required by January 1st 2007. ICS 200, 700, 800 is only required if you plan on being deployed out of Brevard County. This training certification is necessary in order to heighten the state of readiness of Amateur communicators and increase the level of professionalism of Field Volunteers so as to meet more effectively the needs of the served agencies. All training requirements must be met by January 1, 2007 for all ARES members and appointees of record as of 7/22/06. Back Ground checks conducted by The RED CROSS or the Brevard office of emergency management will be required. Red Cross Back Ground check form Follow the directions on the form. Any person not meeting all these requirements will not be eligible for field deployment. Please give considerable thought to your level of commitment.
