EMCOMM REQUIREMENTS ICS 100,200, 700 and 800 are the only current requirements by Brevard County and the American Red Cross. ICS 200, 700, 800 is only required if you plan on being deployed out of Brevard County. This training certification is necessary in order to heighten the state of readiness of Amateur communicators and increase the level of professionalism of Field Volunteers so as to meet more effectively the needs of the served agencies. All training requirements must be met by January 1, 2007 for all ARES members and appointees of record as of 7/22/06. Back Ground checks will be conducted by the Brevard office of emergency management and is required. Any person not meeting all these requirements will not be eligible for deployment.
